Car parks in Auxerre

The main free car parks near the city centre are as follows:

  • The Arquebuse underground and surface car park – Place de l’Arquebuse
  • The Vauban side streets – Boulevard Vauban
  • The Vaulabelle car park – Boulevard Vaulabelle
  • The Porte de Paris car park – Avenue Charles de Gaulle
  • The Roscoff car park – Quai de l’ancienne abbaye
  • The Guillet car park – Rue de Preuilly

Paid car parks:

The paid parking zone covers the entire city centre; you are entitled to one hour’s free parking per day. Parking is charged from Monday to Saturday between 8.00 am and 12.30 pm and between 2.00 pm and 7.00 pm; it is free on Sundays and public holidays.

You do not need to print a ticket from the parking meter; your number plate is automatically scanned during checks.

Pay for your parking easily using the Easypark, Paybyphone or Indigoneo apps, and extend your parking time easily from your smartphone without having to return to your car!
