Qualité Tourisme

« Quality Tourism »™ is a label that unites the strict quality processes entered by the professionals of Tourism, which is aiming at providing quality services to satisfy the customers and visitors. Submitted by the ministry in charge of Tourism, the label “Quality Tourism”™ is a guarantee of confidence for tourism professionals and their customers.
The national label “Quality Tourism” was granted to the Tourist Office of Auxerre on April 2009 and renewed in December 2012 and December 2015.
Known by the visitors, the tourist service providers and the councilors as a structure taking great care of its quality level, the Tourist of Auxerre welcomes you with the guarantee of a quality service and is listening to you for any suggestion. Two others establishments are labeled in the Auxerrois region : camping Les Ceriselles in Vincelles and Hotel-Restaurant Moulin de la coudre in Venoy.


Classement 1ère catégorie

The Tourist Office of Auxerrois is classified category I: the office of category I has a reinforced team and deploys a national or international promotion.

Vignobles et Découvertes label

Created in 2009, the Vignobles & Découvertes label is awarded for a period of 3 years by Atout France to a tourist and wine-producing destination offering a range of complementary and complementary tourist products (accommodation, restaurants, cellar visit and tasting, museum,event, …) and allowing the client to facilitate the organization of his stay and guide him on qualified services.

Ville et Pays d’Art et d’Histoire label

The agglomeration of Auxerrois spread over 29 municipalities has been labeled Ville et Pays d’Art et d’Histoire (Cities and Countries of Art and History) since 1995.
The objectives of this labeling are:
– Present the heritage in all its specificities
– Sensitize the inhabitants to their living environment and encourage quality tourism.
– Introduce young audiences to heritage, architecture and urban planning.
– Welcome the tourist public by providing a program of visits-discoveries.
– Ensure the communication and the promotion of the heritage to the attention of the greatest number.
– Implement a heritage animation program for all types of visitors.

Actors of sustainable tourism

The Auxerrois Tourist Office has committed to the Actors of Sustainable Tourism (ATD) network in 2018 in order to change tourism practices in the area.

Through a series of synergies, the Office wishes to promote Auxerrois and its commitment to sustainable development.The agglomeration’s tourism strategy is based on homelessness and soft mobility to attract visitors who are sensitive to the protection of the environment.
Joining ATD also means keeping abreast of changing visitor expectations and new practices and innovations in the sustainable tourism sector.
