In the heart of the charming village of Vincelottes, the ‘La Cabotte’ holiday cottage, set in a traditional Burgundian building, welcomes you to an authentic and cosy setting. Inspired by the stone shelters once used by winegrowers, this cosy retreat has been entirely and lovingly renovated, preserving the magnificent exposed stonework and making the most of high-quality materials. Set in peaceful surroundings, the gîte offers: a large, light-filled living area with a fully equipped kitchen (Senseo coffee machine) opening onto the lounge/dining room, a TV and Wi-Fi (fibre or wired). The lounge features a sofa bed (140 cm) providing additional sleeping space for two more people. A high table completes this cosy space. A cosy bedroom with a 160x200 cm double bed and a desk area, ideal for a relaxing or business stay. A modern en-suite bathroom for your everyday comfort. Ideally designed for two people, the holiday cottage can accommodate up to four thanks to the sofa bed in the living room. Inside, you’ll be charmed by the property’s character: a typical Burgundian oak ceiling with poplar battens, stone walls finished with lime plaster, natural finishes and Scots pine flooring, creating a unique atmosphere where authenticity goes hand in hand with well-being. All amenities are within an 800-metre walk: a bakery, supermarket, chemist, restaurants and a wine shop. Free parking is available nearby, and a train station stop makes getting around easy. Ideally situated, ‘La Cabotte’ is the perfect base from which to explore the region: 10 minutes from Auxerre, 20 minutes from Chablis, 30 minutes from Vézelay and 40 minutes from Guédelon. Surrounded by vineyards, heritage sites and nature, enjoy a rejuvenating stay in the heart of Burgundy.
