Elusive, the sea invites us to daydream. Whether calm or turbulent, it carries us along just as much as it resists us or overwhelms us. Exploring it is like journeying within ourselves. Drawn mainly from the Centre Pompidou’s collection, the modern and contemporary works displayed throughout the Abbaye Saint-Germain invite us to immerse ourselves in the mysterious, magical and poetic worlds inspired by the surface and depths of the water.
