TEMPO & MOUVEMENT

To mark the Quinzaine dansée, students from the École des Beaux-Arts are presenting *Tempo & Mouvement*, an exhibition that explores the subtle connections between dance and the visual arts. Drawings, paintings, monotypes and screen prints form a journey in which movement becomes line, rhythm and material. Inspired by the energy of the body in motion, the works seek to capture that which, by its very nature, slips away: a surge of energy, a cadence, a fleeting presence. Each image is a trace, a breath laid upon the paper, the memory of a gesture transformed into form. An exhibition curated by Aurélien Domergue, Director of the École des Beaux-Arts, in collaboration with the tutors Corinne Bretel-Gaudry, Killian Moyson, Laureline Lê, Mathilde Patout and Frédérique Danse.
