Description
How about we meet up at the Foyer du Théâtre at lunchtime to share a few ‘smooth-sipping hemispheres’? Playing with language – whether it’s letting a drop of nectar roll across the palate or savouring beautiful poems – is what’s in store for us during this get-together organised by our friends at Bellovide`re.
Every year, this rural theatre based in Beauvoir-en-Puisaye presents its Francophone poetry prize. Antoine Mouton, winner in 2026 for *Nom d’un animal*, is the patron of this year’s event, which will be hosted by the cheerful team at Bellovidère. The programme will feature, in no particular order, previously unpublished texts on what poetry does for us, insightful talks, daring performances, books and the people without whom none of this would make any sense. Speaking of meaning, why poetry? Well, simply because it’s there!
