Même les petites créatures ont de grandes questions

You’re never too young to grapple with life’s big questions. The shadow theatre company Hékau brings three fables by author Jason Stoneking to life in a show bursting with colour. On the art of introducing young minds to the light of thought… Living a life full of meaning, experiencing grief, finding one’s place in the world. Through three short tales that are as much stories of nature as they are stories of the human experience, Hékau takes us on a journey to meet a young coyote beneath the stars, a stone that falls in love with a butterfly, and a solitary, adventurous penguin. Here, the space is as intimate as the questions it raises, and two puppeteers project their creatures of light like animated stained-glass windows. The pleasure of meaning, the pleasure of the senses… What if they were one and the same?
