GUIDED TOUR OF SAINT-GEORGES CHURCH IN ESCAMPS: A CLOSER LOOK AT THE ONGOING RESTORATION WORK. Situated in the heart of the village, Saint-Georges Church in Escamps dates from the 13th century and underwent extensive restoration in the early 17th century. A testament to the region’s history and culture, it has adapted to the needs and tastes of successive eras. Listed as a historic monument in 1926, it also houses listed furnishings. Renovation work began in January 2026 and is due to be completed by the end of the year.
