Description
Any jazz musician will tell you: improvising is about conjuring up a story on the spot. What if, for once, stories took centre stage and served as a springboard for the musicians’ inspiration?
The result of a project launched at the Auxerre Conservatoire, *Histoires en résonance* brings together a team determined to introduce curious ears to the art of storytelling through rhythm! We invite you to listen to the stories told by Stefano Genovese on piano, Victor Aubert on double bass, Didier Petit on cello and Emmanuelle Grundmann, author, clarinettist and primatologist. Between human voices and the timbres of the instruments, between short stories and extracts from novels, each performer will bring their own unique music to life!
