Description
Piano, clarinet, cello: this trio has a real air of freedom about it. This is down to the wonderful variety of its timbres, ranging from brilliance to velvety smoothness and warmth. It’s enough to inspire any composer.
This ‘Midi au Théâtre’ concert is an invitation to slip away into the cosy atmosphere of the Foyer to listen to some of the splendid pieces written for these instruments by great composers, from Brahms to Nino Rota, amongst other works that the performers have in store as a surprise. With poetry and romanticism as their guiding lights, Élodie Lefebvre on the clarinet, Lucie Chevillard on the cello and Nathalie Diôme on the piano will be keen to introduce us to the rich hues of this repertoire, for which Mozart himself paved the way!
