Description

From the hills of Vézelay to Cap-Martin: Eileen Gray, Jean Badovici, Le Corbusier: architecture inspired by its surroundings. This talk is being held as part of Stéphane Couturier’s exhibition *Une Synthèse des arts*, which runs until 17 December 2026 at Hors [ ] Cadre and the Théâtre d’Auxerre. It echoes the ‘E-1027+123’ series that the photographer dedicated to Eileen Gray’s house in Roquebrune Cap-Martin, in which he blends photographs of the architecture with the murals that Le Corbusier painted in this villa. Cyril Brulé, an architect, invites you to discover three key figures in architecture and design who have left their mark on the “eternal hill” and the “cap of the empresses”, bringing these exceptional places into the modern era.
