Description
Through the operatic arias of Antonio Vivaldi, this programme explores the many faces of love: incipient, passionate, troubled or faithful. Between the surges of the heart and the torments of destiny, the music reveals all the intensity and fragility of human feelings.
After making her debut with the Jeunes Voix du Rhin at the Opéra National du Rhin, Delphine Galou turned to baroque music, which led her to sing on some of the world's greatest stages (Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Zürich Opera, Scala in Milan, Carneghie Hall in New York...). Her meeting with Ottavio Dantone has made her an expert in this repertoire.
Ottavio Dantone is an organist, harpsichordist and conductor. He performs on the most prestigious international stages with his orchestra, the Accademia Bizantina, or as a guest conductor (Scala de Milan, Opéra de Paris, Opéra de Zürich, Rai de Turin...). He has been artistic director of the Innsbruck Festival since 2024.
