Bringing a touch of roundness back into our lives with the help of cubes? That’s the challenge of this dance show for very young children, which makes clever use of the set to create new spaces of freedom. All too often, life moves from one box to the next… From the bed to the bedroom, from the kitchen to the table, from the classroom to the storage cupboard… To dream of a less rigid everyday life, the dancers of Hanoumat Compagnie have created a set design featuring cubes and devised a range of choreographed, even acrobatic, situations to explore them. From the largest one that shelters them to the smallest, slipped on like a bracelet, via the softest… So many shapes that they approach or pass through, or into which they vanish as if by magic… Absolutely stunning!
