The Ô la belle toile! open-air film festival is organised by the Pays d'art et d'histoire de l'Auxerrois. Each film selected highlights a heritage feature in the town where it is shown.
Kaamelott - Part One 2021, directed by Alexandre Astier. Why this film? The church in Chevannes can be seen from a distance, but you have to get close enough and look up to see an amazing sculpture, a salamander. This amphibian is the central element of the Chevannes coat of arms, but also the emblem of a French king, François I, who is considered to be the last "king-knight". As for the first, wouldn't that be Arthur Pendragon, the famous King Arthur, sitting at the knights' round table?
Don't forget to bring a seat or cushion to make yourself comfortable! Public reading: tales and legends from Chevannes, Médiathèque du Chat Perché "Géhel fait son cinéma", concert-quizz about cinema by Gérald Lelièvre.
Catering and refreshments on site from 7.30pm with 3 foodtrucks. Indian chef, la Scala and la pâte à Tata
