Is reality soluble in digital technology? Faced with the mirages of AI, urban dance choreographer Étienne Rochefort delivers a splendid visual poem for two dancers and their doubles.

Based on a reflection on the possibility of sharing a common world in the age of AI, Etienne Rochefort takes us through a dizzying visual maze. On stage, two dancers travel in search of each other, with the urban technique of popping in their pockets. Following a meticulous score, these performers synchronise, freeze, disappear or come to life to the point of hallucination in a graphic ballet played out simultaneously on the stage and on multiple projection surfaces. Urban landscapes, deep forests, snows of light, moments of visual frenzy... At the end of this journey that is as carnal as it is dreamlike, Fata Morgana invites us to reconnect with a certain idea of being together. The stage as the ultimate refuge for the living?
