"At Quenne, I'm carrying on the family heritage of winegrowing. This heritage is showcased in the vine and wine eco-museum on the estate, created by my mother 30 years ago and recently relaunched thanks to her help and that of my whole family (children, brothers, nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles, aunts, etc.).
The guided theatrical tour (8 years of theatre!) lasts about 1? hours.
It presents
- The history of the family and the vineyard over the last 2 centuries, as well as how it has adapted and evolved in response to crises (disease, war, economic downturns, etc.), using the family's tools and artefacts as support.
- Viewing of a video entitled "From Vine to Wine", which explains the winegrowing profession on our estate today.
- A brief presentation of the issues facing us today and in the future (global warming, decarbonisation, agroecology, etc.) and how we can respond to them. These different themes are addressed during the visit.
All of this is accompanied during the visit by a tasting of 4 wines from the estate and gougères, to engage all our senses and create a friendly, convivial atmosphere, as if I were entertaining friends.
