Duo Amasis

Two timbres for a vast range of possibilities, unfolded between the sonorities of the cello's strings - reputed to be close to the human voice - and the brilliance of the saxophone. In this contrasting musical space, the duo reveals an eclectic repertoire that combines Baroque works (Johann Sebastian Bach, Marin Marais), Classical works (Mozart's astonishing sonata for bassoon and cello) and contemporary works such as Alexandre Ouzounoff's Madre.
