Chantal and Philippe welcome you to their home in Gy l'Evêque, 10 minutes from Auxerre, with its five guest rooms (each with en suite bathroom and toilet), in an atmosphere as calm as it is welcoming.
Whether you're just passing through or spending a few days exploring the region, a visit to the nineteenth-century wash-house and the thirteenth- and sixteenth-century Romanesque church in this small village is a must.
All around the village you'll find a number of footpaths where you can admire the cherry blossom in spring and taste the cherries in early summer.
To get the day off to a good start, you can enjoy a traditional breakfast with homemade jams and pastries.
When the weather gets a little cooler, a fire in the fireplace will warm you up.
