Summary: Lionel, an honest restaurateur, should be having a wonderful day. Tonight, he receives his mother-in-law for the first time to celebrate his engagement to Amandine. Then, because of the heatwave, the sub-prefect decides to requisition the cold room of Lionel's restaurant to take the place of the undertakers.
A clergywoman, a foolish customer, the sub-prefect's secretary and a health officer make the day hell.
