When amphibians migrate to their breeding grounds, they have to cross roads... and many of them get run over. To halt their gradual disappearance, every year the LPO BFC installs buckets along a fence, then every morning, depending on the migration, the amphibians that have fallen in are carefully taken out, inventoried and returned to the ponds so that they can reproduce in complete safety. To save them, the LPO needs the help of volunteers every day until mid-March: come and join us!

Action coordinated by Isabelle Bellier, in partnership with the Communauté d'agglomération de l'Auxerrois.

Dates depend on the weather and amphibian migration flows. Day, place and time of meeting in the morning in Appoigny to be specified after registration on 03 86 42 93 47 or via isabelle.bellier@lpo.fr (please note that places are limited).
