Charcoal

Charcoal is a dance solo for sixty spectators aged 2 and upwards. Gathered around a focal point of light, they are invited to witness the awakening of a host as mysterious as she is welcoming, who, gesture after gesture, rolls like a wave, rises, unfurls her dance, scrubs her face like a shaman... And her body lets out an ageless song... An immersive show in which the material is the primary source and generator of movement, Charcoal is a gentle ritual at a child's level.
