Alchemilla

Depending on the context, it takes the form of images, objects, editions or installations. Alchemilla will be exhibited simultaneously in the Theatre and the Hors[ ]Cadre exhibition space. For the occasion, the duo are exploring the narrative potential of the alchemilla. This humble, common plant has inhabited the human imagination for generations. It weaves many disparate links, conjuring up images of the griffin, hydrophobia, the menopause and the umbrella. The works bring together these disparate associations, sketching out a whimsical and curious narrative.
