Since 2000, Marie Chapelet has been exploring volumes and curves, particularly through photography and drawing. The "164 squared" exhibition offers a reflection on size and proportions, in which each work is a game of measurements and perceptions: each photograph or drawing represents a detail of the human body in black and white, in a raw and unadorned approach, and adopts a precise dimension inspired by the number 164 (1m64, 16.4 cm, 1.64 cm...).
